The "Balik Bayani sa Turismo" program by the Department of Migrant Workers and Department of Tourism offers free tourism-related training for overseas Filipino workers, aiming to help them return home with sustainable income in the local tourism sector. The program covers culinary tourism, farm tourism, homestay operations, and tour guiding. OFWs with relevant skills can also join the DOT's pool of experts. Additionally, TESDA provides scholarship grants for qualified OFWs and their family members interested in becoming tourism frontliners or enterprise owners.
