Lydia Coloma, a 70-year-old Filipina, has been identified as one of the four previously unidentified bodies recovered from the Lahaina wildfire on Aug. 8, 2023. Coloma, along with her husband Salvador and seven other relatives, tragically lost their lives in the fire. The Maui Police Department confirmed her identity through DNA testing. This wildfire incident has claimed the lives of 100 individuals, including 29 Filipinos and Filipino Americans, making it the deadliest wildfire in Hawaii's history.
